Also, worth noting that this is just the base game for Diablo IV. Vessel of Hatred is no longer purchasable, but is included with Lord of Hatred, the new expansion that just released. Price of this bundle ($15) + Lord of Hatred ($40) = $55, still less than the price of the "Age of Hatred Collection" ($70) that includes both on BNet or Steam.
I'd be perfectly happy with Blizzard's back catalog becoming available on Steam, given that b.net's Linux support is nonexistent, and I don't care for fiddling around with Lutris or Heroic Launcher when I can avoid it.

Steam Link lets me access my PC from anywhere in the world without having to set up sunshine/moonlight/Artemis/Apollo or whatever the newest fork of some random RDP github is. Download the Steam Link app, launch it, approve the sign in on your PC, and as long as your Steam host is online, you can connect to it from anywhere. EZPZ.
People are so quick to talk shit about Steam, but they can never provide another platform that does it better.

And its not managing two apps, but 2 dozen. But god forbid when I pay $$$ for something, I want to enjoy it on the platform of my choosing. OMG....such a horrible concept. But I must be in a "cult" because I have a different opinion than you do...can't have that in your free thinking world

I have solid and functional reasons for preferring Steam and have articulated them. You've yet to do the same with this dead horse you seem to be beating and shoving down everyone else's throats....yet cannot even tell us why. O?
Unlike you....I don't think people with different options are in a "cult." You can like chocolate ice cream and I'll prefer strawberry. We don't have to both agree. Crazy, I know. Now the fact you've decided my choice means I am under the mental influence of a 3rd party's mind control is an entirely different discussion. That's a you problem, pure projection.
And what "monopoly?" Steam is a fraction of the size of Epic Games, Microsoft, etc. Not to mention all the console market. PC gaming is a niche itself within the gaming market, Steam is a niche within a niche. LOL...the runt in the corner is running the entire industry? Epic or MS could buy Steam (and Valve) without even checking their bank account. Heck, Tim Sweeney's net worth (owner of Epic) is more than Valve is even valued....as an entire company.
Fun fact, Epic recently laid off 1000 employees in March. Valve's entire company is 300-350 people total. So Epic's fat trimming is 3x the size of Valve's entire staff. But Valve is the elephant in the room?
FWIW, Nvidia actually does have an unfair market share and even if you take into account AMD then Intel, 3 companies are running the entire GPU industry. The video game market is an entirely different beast, thus why we are even having this discussion regarding games NOT on Steam. Or did you miss that huge point?
