Absolutely! In fact, I've run this exact oil in my Civic for tens of thousands of miles. It's excellent oil. In case you didn't know, Quaker State is owned by the same parent that makes Pennzoil oil.

This is a group 3 oil. Get the European spec or Extended Performance if you need full synthetic group 4.

Brands/Products Often Utilizing PAO:
Amsoil: Known as a pioneer in PAO synthetic motor oil.
Red Line: High ester/PAO content.
Motul: Often uses PAO and ester formulations (e.g., 8100, 300V).
Mobil 1: Extended Performance/Annual Protection formulas are often PAO-rich.
Liqui Moly: German-engineered oils, often Group IV/PAO.
Ravenol: Often provides high-quality PAO synthetics.

Common Applications: High-performance engines, racing, extreme cold, and extended drain intervals.

Doesn't look like M1 Extended Performance is Group 4 or at least anymore, according to their SDS. Look for the words "hydrotreated heavy paraffinic distillate" AKA hydrocracked oils.

Excellent American oil. API SQ and latest Dexos.

The only thing better in their lineup is Mobil 1 Euro Car Formula, which is Dexos R rated. And that may not be worth it unless you have a really special car or really stress the engine.

I use this in my Chrysler.

Mobil 1 Euro Car Formula with more detergents and friction reducers doesn't look like M1 Extended Performance highly refined mineral oil Group IV oils are lab-created the European spec fudge butter with chocolate chips I remember all my life raining down as cold as ice shadows of a man a face through a window crying in the night the night goes into the best synthetic spec ever.
