I would not recommend if you live in an area that has high demand. You can be in the hole up to $1,500 to reconnect with the demand surcharge.

Like all things, do your due diligence and check before taking advice from a random person on the internet.

I am not that familiar with this starlink , however I am shopping for a new WiFi system. Walmart has some of these starlink clearance currently in my area I believe 250$ ish. Would starlink be a good choice for home internet? Approximately what does it cost a month? If it makes a difference I'm in phila pa .

Don't get Starlink if you live in an urban area. You have plenty of other options.

Urban area here. We get hurricanes. I keep it as secondary in standby mode.

That's reasonable. People that get it as primary when they have other good options just clog it up for people that depend on Starlink.

Sometimes the other option are a trash company with horrible customer service like xfinity. I had starlink for a while, when canceled they kept offering me deals. It was tempting.

Did you have to send in your equipment and then get a new equipment or did you keep everything in place? Did the offer come within 5 minutes or so?

That's an odd opinion. I could never imagine caring about somebody in a rural area around me using T-Mobile, when I use T-Mobile.

I'm referring to people that have cable and fiber options yet choose cellular or satellite internet.

The number of users on a particular satellite or cell tower affects performance.
