I run in the Guide 18's and ran in the 17's. $75 for a pair is a great deal as they make way for the 19's. (17's an 18's were very similar - not sure about the 19's.)
I am a heel striker and these sneakers so me well from 10k-marathon distance. The Saucony Guide is a dedicated stability daily trainer and the toe box is wide enough for me. I get 300 miles per pair.

I've got the ride 18. Guides are supoosed to be the stability version of those. Definitely can say they are good for a long run and last forever. My old pair of 15s I had for over 450 miles.

15s are pretty different from the 18s. Exposed foam on the outsole, for example, is much higher which wouldn't imply it will last the same amount of time.
