Friends and I are still irate over how Liquid Death tried to do away with the tall boy versions of billionaire and then gouged us. I went from loving this brand to hating it.

Their company spawned because apparently holding a water bottle isn't cool enough and everyone has to be performative.

It skyrocketed to popularity not because people wanted to look cool but because they wanted that mental feeling of holding a can without being badgered at parties/bars because they either couldnt or didnt want to drink anymore. It was a solid still/sparkling water at first with sources from the Alps, now it's just overpriced spring water in a can

Have you watched this video? It literally was made to replace monster energy water cans that band members were drinking. It's the definition of performative.
Btw, "sources from the Alps" or "Spring Water" is pure marketing for water.
If people have to look cool while drinking water, it shows how shallow society has become.

I'm confused - isn't this an iced tea or energy drink? Why are there so many comments about sparkling water or 'performative' ?? How about caring more for the drinks itself, flavor, effects, etc.?

I don't think it is an energy drink.

Caffeine pills and vitamins cost pennies so all of these companies and response companies are invisible to me.

These products are people who are addicted to something and don't realize or accept the cost. (I'm blaming society, not the users).

Consider the mental framework to name your product "dead billionaire ". It is clearly more than a can of water. And there is nothing attractive about this nonsense. I refuse to participate.

The irony of selling this in a Whole Foods where all the rich liberals walk by it and nobody buys it... I used to buy the lime tall boys but now they're short cans and price gouge. Used to buy a lot, now I buy 0, I don't care for drinking a "dead billionaire"

You're probably not a fan of just about any bottled water source then.

We have reached the point in society where we are arguing over water. Christ. 🤦 ♂️
