Insane deal for a NEW, open/damaged box C535. Thanks and repped. This is by FAR the best Winix model ever made. In for 1, a little over $50 after tax. May get more later but had to jump on at least one.

Insane deal for a NEW, open/damaged box C535. Thanks and repped. This is by FAR the best Winix model ever made. In for 1, a little over $50 after tax. May get more later but had to jump on at least one.

Well if it's truly just an open box or damaged box then it's a heck of a deal. But given vipoutlet reputation lately on SD, I doubt that's what you are getting
Let us know the condition when you get it. Are the filters brand new unopened?

I ordered the one they have listed has used a few days ago. Came brand new with the 2 new filters and 8 carbon filters. Very happy that I ordered a second one today. Yeah vipoutlet is a hit or miss. Ordered a babyliss shaver claiming it was new. Came used and scratched with hair everywhere.

Reviews seem to be a mixed bag with some buyers happy with the unit, while others says it's obviously used and/or damaged. It's a great deal if you get what the seller claims, but note that reviews say the seller does not respond if you have a problem.

Is from ebay, 30 days return free shipping. Worse thing that could happens is getting ebay involve and get your money back a few days later than usual.

have a 5500 that's been running non stop for years now. gonna pick one of these up as a backup or maybe last minute gift to have around. easy buy at this price.
different filters than 5500 but still cheap to get on amazon. just checked. filters are usually where they get you but on these winix are like 8 bucks a pop and actually last for a little bit.

Bought one of these from vipoutlet a few weeks ago. Their Fedex shipment required a signature and actually had to show a drivers license for this $50 air purifier. That was the first bad sign I suppose. Opened it up, it looked brand new but it was DOA. It powered on but the motor wouldn't spin. The box had an old Walmart shipping label on it, leading me to believe they're selling untested Walmart returns. The Ebay return process was terrible. The seller received the POS back more than a week ago and a refund still hasn't been issued yet. Good luck to anyone else, but there's no way I'm buying anything from vipoutlet ever again.

Yeah if the open box includes open filters, then the carbon will probably already be degraded, and there could be mold spores growing on the filters. I'm in for one just because it's too good to pass up if I get a good one.
