I've walked for couple hours in the 680s (similar kind of foam), and my feet hurt. From what I've seen, the ones to go after with better comfort are the 860, 1080, Kaiha, and FuelCell Rebel v5. That's within New Balance; if you're looking for a similar price with better comfort, you can find it in other brands.

how long did you walk for in them? I found the 680 v5 excellent walking shoes but not good at standing.
