TOOL BODY ONLY: Accepts any 18V/36V MultiVolt battery or AC Adapter (sold separately).

If you're not already on the battery platform, this might not be what you want to start with.

If you're looking for a serious-business non-trim cordless router your options are this and the Dewalt. 36V tabless 4/8ah batteries are on sale at Lowes right now for $119 and you can use any Multivolt charger.

The price on this one does get lower but not often.
