I got the canyon 5 a year or two ago for $500. Got all deore components and love the bike. This model seems to improve on geometry and fork and tappered vs non-tappered headtube. for me at least it doesnt seem like anywhere as good a deal as the previous Canyon sales. hopefully it goes down in price some more

Those deals will never happen again. Inventory was crazy high from the post-covid boom build up and bike companies had bills to pay.

Those are two completely different bikes. The Grand canyon is more of a gravel bike where the stoic is a trail hardtail bike.

I got an awesome deal about 80% off a high end Canyon e-bike on one of these deals. Just be aware they are floor models and have problems. Mine had the charging port installed inverted, and a few other parts mis-installed. Just be aware at what you are getting. Anyone who has done even minor bike repair will be able to deal with it, and canyon's support is responsive (but a bit robotic).

Amazon also has Exceed CF 5 for $1100 size S , that's about $800-$1200 off . It's their super light carbon XC hardtail https://www.amazon.com/Canyon-Exc...ref=sr_1_3

Those deals can still happen but for some odd sized leftover bike that hasn't sold for years.
