Just sent my one week owned refurbished one back couple days ago for full refund, which was an easy process. When powered off it would drop 25% battery capacity in 12 hours. No way mine was refurbished to original specs, but it did look brand new with plastic film over display and Bluetooth worked flawlessly. I had planned on using it for my power recliner to avoid power cord sprawling across my floor. Maybe you'll get lucky and get the one I sent back lol.

Be aware that having an inverter on will drain the battery, even without using the item you have plugged in.

These are definitely a no go, I just got mine a few days ago and it came in with the bottom half sticky and watermarked. Highly doubt they checked it before sending it out as refurbished. Just a warning if you decide to go with this refurbished model.
Haha, be aware a product is worthless if it can't sit idle (off) for 24 hours and be at 50% battery capacity from the 100% start level. That would mean when not used for 48 hours you would have to charge it before you could use it.
So the chair was plugged in and you switched off the ecoflow completely (so the chair couldn't operate), and it was down 25% in 12 hours? Trying to understand if it is just inefficient when "on" but no power being used or if it wouldn't hold any charge even when sitting on a shelf. One would work for my use but the other wouldn't.
I have 2 of the non-Plus versions, one being refurbished. The factory-fresh one works fine for what it is. For the refurb, it worked fine for a week before the LCD crystals all started becoming illuminated at once, rendering it unintelligible: I have to use the app to see power levels, etc.
I would advise passing on the Ecoflow brand in general. I won't personally be buying anything else from them.

Yeah, there's a big difference between idle and off when it comes to power stations. These units have very low inverter idle draw at about 5 watts but with a 280wh battery it would in fact drain down after about 56 hours if left on and "idle".
You can just turn off the ports or the unit to prevent this when not using it.

I was testing unit unplugged with all power off and it dropped 25% in 12 hours, as I never made it to the point where I tested with chair plugged in to it

This may just be the BMS re-calibrating the battery's actual capacity. This is one of the main issues with LFP batteries: the battery percentage can be inaccurate, and it needs regular charge and discharge cycles to re-calibrate.

Yes you need to charge full and discharge at 250-300 watts 3-5 times which I did thinking it might help but no dice
Oh man, mine from the $160 deal just came in today. Could have saved a few bucks.
Quick review: unit looks pretty good, but you can tell it's used by a few scratches and some gunk that was on it. Got it plugged in and it's at 37% charge. One thing that is annoying is the power bank while charging has coil whine. Because of that I don't think I'm likely to use that much or keep it continually plugged in but maybe I can make use of it once I'm a while.
I had considered waiting for the Costco deal to come back due to the second power bank but now I know I'm not likely to have ever used it.
The description says "LiFePO4, 3000 cycles to 80% capacity".
I thought LiFePO4 batteries were supposed to last almost 10k cycles? 3k is closer to a standard lithium ion battery.

What source is that?
As a technology, LFP is 2,000+ cycles, while NMC is 1,000 - 2,000. But for both, manufacturers have improved both. Many advertising 4K on LFP, AFAIK, use a limited DOD (depth of discharge), basically a reserve for them when some cells degrade. https://www.batteryuniversity.com...thium-ion/

Looks like it can vary quite a bit, up to 10k cycles if you keep the discharges between 20 and 80 percent. But I'm glad that Ecoflow is publishing the realistic estimate by assuming you're doing full charges and discharges.

I ordered one a while back refurbished, they didn't ship for five days and when they eventually did, I got an alert after a couple of days the label was not legible. No clue when or if I'll receive mine.
