I have these and really like them. But man they are heavy when compared with my Sony pair.

And the only way to turn them off is to put them in their case. Very strange, and inconvenient.

Otherwise great sound quality.

I eventually gave up on them because of the lack of an on/off switch or button. You couldn't put them down just anywhere. They had to return to the bra. It was annoying as hell. Can't believe they did not address with gen 2. One of the few apple products I genuinely didn't like. Hell, I even like and use the Magic Mouse!!

At $350, these are worth it, either generation, as they run circles around Sony XM/Bose. At $500+ it's a harder sell but for all those singing the praises of its competitor just know if you have an iPhone you WILL have issues pairing both the Sony/Bose with your Apple products. Couple that with absolutely horrendous quality control from these headphones compared with Apple and it's like picking the least rotten looking piece of fruit at the grocery store. Apple had years to fix the smallest problems like on/off switch, condensation, and a myriad of other issues, instead of fixing any of this they released a "new" version with USB-C and new colors and then released this pitiful "upgrade." Did the same thing with Airpods Pro 3, three years passed before a new version is released and they are already $70 off chronically on sale due to how poorly they are selling and how shit they are
