Sweet deal
So $800 - sans the aesthetics - is a damn good deal.
p.s. No one cares what the decks look like if you play good tunes.

The SL-1200M7B is a rugged direct drive Technics turntable that is best known as a long running DJ standard, with tank like build quality and strong durability for hard use. At $800, it lands well below current pricing for the unbranded SL-1200MK7 and is described as a strong value if the Lamborghini graphics do not bother you. The main tradeoffs are cosmetic, since the special edition is essentially a reskinned MK7 with silk screened branding, and it does not include a cartridge or built in phono stage. It is a solid fit for DJ focused setups or buyers who can live with the look.
The direct-drive design supports hard DJ use, including scratching and intensive mixing.
The turntable can be used without being limited by the Lamborghini graphics because skins or wraps can cover the look.
The $800 price can be a strong value compared with the unbranded 1200 listing price and historical pricing context.
The special edition includes wheel graphics as an exclusive vinyl platter pattern rather than only a removable slipmat badge.
The platter mat can be swapped for a different mat without replacing the integrated platter itself.
The purchase requires additional spending for a cartridge, and moving-coil setups also require a phono preamp.
The special edition's color and graphics can be a dealbreaker for buyers who dislike the visual pattern.
The special edition is essentially a reskinned MK7, so the extra cost may feel like branding rather than performance value.
The turntable may be overkill for home listening unless there is a plan to DJ professionally.

So this is a step up from the 1500C?

Also get the Ortofon Bronze Cartridge to make this a real good audiophile TT - several available on eBay cheap. If you are not familiar with setting up the cartridge you can buy with the Ortofon Cartridge with the headshell. Note the VTA will be 1 for the existing mat or 3 with the upgraded mat.
If your Receiver does not have a Phono in then you will need to get a pre-amp. Decent pre-amps are Pro-ject Phono Box S2 or Schiit Mani2.
The main difference between this and the SL1500C is this does not have a built-in amp and does not come with a cartridge.
This TT will last you a lifetime. Very rugged.
