I'm wondering why the refurbs are bad. I have a new River 2 245w one and it works great but only thing is the foldable panels are just trash. I have had 1 replacement already and after 4 months another replacement has been submitted. I gave up and bought a 100w ecoworthy rigid panel.

Yeah I can't imagine exactly what it is other than being defective or physically damaged. Unless the battery has been used to heck and back, charge capacity should be fine since these are high cycle count batteries (3K+). I've had (brand new mind you) for more than a year of daily charging and draining and it's still like new.

The one aspect that makes me pause is why there are so many EF refurbs on sale. They must have lots of returns, so their QC or parts quality may not that good. I see far fewer Jackery refurbs on sale. That said, I have this model, purchased new and have been happy with it other than fan noise. There are mods posted to replace the noisy fan with a quieter one.

price is good, but this model power switch speed a bit slow. pc may shutdown during power switch. So not a good UPS for high power PC

I bought a Bluetti refurb before and found out it's cheaper for a reason. The capacity is about 30% less that its claim.
