I have successfully done many submissions for Mobil rebates using online purchases from Walmart.
Just keep the receipts and apply for rebate quickly incase they don't honor it so you can return it
Where are you getting the datapoint that they reject online orders? User error submitting wrong receipts or clear full receipts? Non-participating online retailers?

Gemini is suggesting to get Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy Full Synthetic Motor Oil 0W-20, 5 Quart for my 2016 Toyota Camry instead of the Extended Performance High Mileage. Thoughts? It has 130k miles on it.
Other than that, Toyota recommends 5w-20 or 5w-30 in most other countries except the U.S. where they went with the higher fuel economy thinner oil.
In my older Tacoma, it's 5w on the label under the hood. In the same engine on newer models, everything is 0w-20.
I go with the original 5w, still using 5,000 mile changes.
