Amazon has had the student half off(reduced rate) running for a very long time. Many years, continuously.

Best way to get prime free/cheap is to have prime trial and select slow shipping. I have gotten over $150 of slow shipping credit in a month. Especially during prime day months.

But Amazon does not offer the $69/year Prime subscription to people on those eligible programs. You'd figure that people retired or on assistance would need it more than college students who are usually still under their parents' wing
yes, I don't know why, I checked.. on SNAP retired. (US$ 6.99 a month) x 12 = 83.88 US$ a year. I sort of forgot about it.... didn't realize how much it is regularly.

Hey Amazon! How about offering people who are on EBT this yearly subscription rate for Prime instead of just a monthly discounted rate?
because there's nothin in it for "them", no valuable data to gather, low chance they'll be full-priced payers in the future. Amazon is focused on increasing the wealth at the top, the end
