I don't recall the age limit before. I'm older and have student prime even though I never misrepresented my age (perhaps I was never asked?)

They're also strict now. For renewal they require more proof for re-verification like schedule of classes, future classes, invoice from the school's office. For some reason id.me is not enough.

How is student prime different than regular prime subscription? Can I verify with my kid's credentials (currently a college student) on my preexisting account?

I still have it. never asked to reverify. age limit was added in the last couple years. I got mine before the age limit. . never been asked to re verify. all i had to have when i signed up was an edu address. which I still have from college days Long gone.

not sure on what verification they require now. It was stupid easy when i did it they just sent a link to edu email address.
and student is better the prime. cash back on some items purchased. not sure if unlimited amazon music is still part of it or not. always stuff popping up under student perks sections.
