"I purchased the Shark Stratos Cordless at Costco believing I was getting the IZ800/IZ862H model you see reviewed everywhere. The packaging even points to IZ800 instructions, which makes it look like the same unit. Instead, Costco sells a stripped-down variant (UZ815H) with a smaller motor (181W vs 309W), shorter runtime (40 min vs 60 min), and a different, harder-to-find battery. What makes this worse is Costco charges the same price as the superior IZ862H sold at other retailers. So you pay full price but get a watered-down version, with no clear disclosure at purchase. That's deceptive marketing, plain and simple. Costco's reputation has always been built on trust and value, not selling inferior "club-exclusive" versions of products that look identical to the originals. Members deserve transparency, not bait-and-switch tactics."

I had hoover one power got refurbished for 70 from direct tools few years back but the carpet roller started making crazy noise and it's like 100 dollars for new part.

The Shark Stratos from vacuum wars in 2025 won both the best floor and carpet cleaning vacuum on the market award. It hands down is a better vacuum than the Dyson v9 competing more in line with the V15. For those that have not realized it yet, Dyson still makes a great vacuum but your paying for the name not the performance, as the shark stratos even beat out the V15 in pickup tests.
