If you add the following to your cart, the 4-port charger and 4x 9ah battery will be free.

DEWALT Battery and Charger Bundle (Item# 2056648) [acehardware.com]
DeWalt 60V MAX DCBL570Y2 170 mph 850 CFM 60 V Battery Backpack Blower Kit (Item# 7037988) [acehardware.com]
DeWalt Flexvolt DCST980B 17.5 in. 60 V Battery String Trimmer Tool Only (Item# 7052798) [acehardware.com]

All total, you'd end up with 6 flexvolt batteries (2x 12ah and 4x 9ah), a 4-port fast charger, 2x single fast chargers, a backpack blower and a string trimmer for $1350ish.

Shipping is brutal ($250) for me because my local store doesn't have an option to ship the battery pack to store. If your store has that option, shipping should be free.

Not a frequent Ace customer so I don't know if you can return parts of the bundle without returning everything.

Looks like it's choose any two: the backpack blower, string trimmer, brush cutter, or two different "clearing saws" (brush cutter with a circular saw blade?).

Someone figure out whether this is hackable, please. 😂

no way in hell the bundle is worth this much

Cmon guys battery powered backpack blower ..this has to be an oxymoron. You'd prolly get 15 min of blowing and 2 hours of charging

I mean I'm all for battery powered tools but a backpack blower is not it

Blower is $400 on sale. 4x 9ah flexvolts can be had for $100 ea on marketplace. 2x 12ah flexvolts are $150 ea. 4-port charger is $200 on marketplace. Trimmer is maybe $200 on marketplace (it's a weird pro version but i doubt there'd be enough demand to get more than $50 more than the usual dsct972 that everyone uses). That's $1500 total value. Hard to call this a deal. I'm looking for one of these blowers but even valuing my time at zero, selling all the other stuff only saves me $100 off the non-sale price on the blower ($400 instead of $500 msrp).

this is all assuming you are buying this to flip it. if you are buying to use the batteries and not trying to get stabbed while buying on fb, it's an amazing deal.

The DCST980 is their newest model string trimmer, it has the battery power indicators and controls all down by your hand unlike the older 972 which required looking behind you and pressing the physical power button on the battery itself. As for increased performance I'm not sure but I will say Dewalt finally adding a sling strap connection point and even including the sling itself is worth the increased price alone. /s

I bought the Ryobi backpack blower with a 4AH 40volt for $150 bucks. I bought 2.
I can go around a blow everything off after a mow on 2 acres. And that's 90% of what is needed out of a blower.
If you want to move a yard full of leaves, there's no battery unit going to do that for without recharging all batteries multiple times. That's gas territory.
I just got the Husqvarna backpack 150BT at Lowe's daily deal for 190.00. I have Ryobi 40v carbon fiber string trimmer, Dewalt foldable, Kobalt, and Ego trimmers all between 50-100 bucks each.
Hard to justify 1500 after tax for a battery blower and trimmer
