Even if you purchase them together, i would submit the rebates separately, unless something changed from the last rebate. I only received one of two rebates initially and it took months of back and forth to get the second one.
Also, on the rebate form it states: Customers can get one cup for every five quarts purchased.

I don't care so much for 4 cups... but if we're getting four $10 cards (total: $40), what a steal!
Maybe need to make 4 separate transactions of each 5 quarts? Not sure. Anyone have a clarification?
Would the packs of 6 x 1 qt [samsclub.com] at Sam's Club count for the rebate? Can't find any info on the rebate pages about what those participating retailers actually are.
The shopping offers for Capital One cardholders include one for Sam's (e.g. spend $15 online, get $10 back). Combined with this $10 rebate and $8 instant savings, that'd be 6 quarts for $12 excluding tax. Not bad if Sam's (online) counts for Mobil1 rebate.

Once it's back to not burning oil, keeping with a 5K oil change interval (OCI) using a decent oil (like M1 Euro 5W-40...do NOT use 0W-20 in your Q5 unless you don't like your motor) and it won't burn any more oil. Fix it sooner than later. Excessive oil burn can poison/kill your catalytic converters and those are not cheap to replace so to answer the other guy, THIS is why you fix the "small" problem.
