The Echelon Connect Sport 2 is a basic magnetic-resistance spin bike that works well for home cardio, especially when paired with the QZ app and Peloton app instead of Echelon software. The no screen setup keeps things simple, and the bike can provide useful metrics like cadence, speed, distance, resistance, and watts through Bluetooth. Fit and comfort are the main tradeoffs, with some riders replacing the seat or pedals and noting limited adjustment for taller users. Firmware updates and app changes can affect QZ support, so leaving it alone matters.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. The bike can pair with QZ over Bluetooth and then feed metrics into the Peloton app, including speed, cadence, distance, resistance, watts, and heart rate if you have an Apple Watch or HRM. Several comments also say to avoid updating the bike or installing the Echelon app if you want to preserve QZ compatibility.
It has limited fit range and may max out around 6 feet with a 34-inch inseam, with the seat able to move backward but not much higher. The stock saddle is often replaced, and some riders also swap in clipless pedals for better comfort.
Long-term reports describe it as a basic magnetic-resistance bike with few mechanical parts to fail, and some units have run 4-5 times per week for 5+ years. Reported issues are mostly electronics-related, such as a dead screen or a speed sensor that drifts, and warranty replacement has covered at least one screen failure.
No built-in screen or computer is included. The bike is meant to be used with your own phone or tablet, which is why QZ or another app is commonly used for metrics and display.
The box may not include printed instructions, so the manual may need to be downloaded. If the pedals do not turn after assembly, the shipping lock or brake may still be engaged and needs to be removed.

I don't have this specific model but similar
the angles are all wrong compared to a real road bike, for the seat and handlebars and they have extremely limited adjustment
you are far better off getting ANY kind of cheap low end 10-12 speed bike and putting it on the Thinkrider trainer when it comes on sale below $200, it's been as cheap as $150 with aliexpress.us codes
just my 2 cents, $130 may seem cheap but you will want to re-buy something else soon enough, these devices are only as good as you are comfortable enough to use it often, otherwise becomes a clothes hangar

wait for another sale if you want to use an indoor trainer often and want something comfortable
