I have a FitBit Inspire 3, and I'm happy with the device itself, but honestly Google has been the worst thing for FitBit customers.
I tried to pass on my Inspire 2 device to my teen daughter and I had to give up, because I simply couldn't get the device set up for her Google account. They just... don't support teenagers. (WTF!)
A device like this without a screen seems like a very fashion-focused design. Sure, you save a bit on battery? It doesn't seem to cost less. You're going to need to wear and additional watch to tell time. Certainly not for me.

I have $100 store credit and am debating this deal. Kinda hesitant bc it doesn't tell the time. And I'm tired of having a general amount of Google store credit to use up

putting a google device on your body is like getting STD.And Fitbit still has no direct sync with Apple Health app.$99/mo for Google Health service. While having all your information stolen.Garbage.
This is incorrect. The Fitbit Air can sync with the Apple Health app.

You're exchanging it for the free service..not exactly stolen.

How you gonna know when the battery died? I got the charge 6, and they give the worst battery they could. Significant battery degrading with around 100 battery charges. Dropped 15% in 3 hours.

Does anyone have experience with the Google Health Premium? I'm debating whether to get it or not.

So.. this is like a Fitbit Inspire 3 but more expensive (I got the fitbit on sale through a slickdeal a couple years ago for maybe $45?), no screen, but maybe better battery life?

Just get an Inspire 3.. or wait for the value of this Air device to drop in half in a few months in classic Google fashion

I think this is Google's attempt to compete with WHOOP. No required subscription is definitely appealing.

They should have designed these as universal watch straps so they could be used with our classic watchs!

Cause they already look like just watch straps. Come on, use some brains..

I loved this design when Amazon had their Halo devices- no watch face and I don't need the ability to read texts from my wrist laugh out loud

Since I recently got a Fitbit 3, I'm thinking I'll wait and see what who do get it like or dislike about it.

A year ago I would agree but things have changed. I've had Fitbit Premium (now Heath Plus or whatever they call it) and I love it - to the point that I'm going into contortions to stay in the ecosystem even though I'm not a fan of Google hardware aesthetics. The AI behind the system is pretty amazing and I found myself being more productive and motivated by using the "Coach" and its attention to details. I can't recommend it enough.

I was going to wait for the new google hub to drop to use my google credit, this will do the trick, and I also get another $35 credit back. Had $200 credits from last pixel 10a pre-order.
