I was about to say these things are worth probably about 10 bucks. The only thing I could see these being good for is like a TV remote
Is the performance bad?

As a rule I do not use apps to do this, or use the google playstore. If it's FOSS and on apkmirror, I might take a look at it. You don't need a third-party app for shell, so I'm not sure why you use this one.

Trying to duplicate this. I joined Metro about 10 days ago. Using my PC I get "please contact us to complete your order. Any tips?

Changed a browser and was able to place an order. Here are my questions:
1) does the tablet need activation like phone, after receiving the order?
2) does the tablet need 365 days to unlock, just as phone unlock policy?
3) how to turn off auto pay for tablet plan? or I have to call to cancel (after 1st month)?

anyone know if they updated this tablet to a newer version? i got 2 of them last yeat. they were slow AF! almost unusuable. i wouold rather spend 50 bucks more and get the motorola one.
Nah they are still slow af and unusable.

However, you can get 1080p video playback and the screen looks solid (4k the processor can't handle)

Or use it as a home assistant dashboard

Not really useable as a normal tablet

I already have a tab and iphone. Can I get this one and cancel metro account completely?

Would I be charged like a device fee or something?

Create 3 different accounts, get one of their free phones on each account, wait until arrives, activate, then go and follow the steps for each account individually

I want to get a bunch of tablets for my business for use in providing proposals to review(pdf). I'm thinking 8-10 total.Would it be possible to get that many, cancel after the first month, and if so for those familiar with this deal, what would be the easiest way to go about accomplishing this?I'm not currently a metro customer.
Dude at least keep them active for a few months man. Theyre giving you awesome tablets

I got a Moto G Stylus free with $65 plan in August of last year. Then earlier this year they were offering this tablet deal, so I tried to get another Moto G Stylus (this time free with the $55 plan) and then order a tablet. We'll I was able to get the 2nd G stylus, but when I tried ordering the tablet after activating the phone, I got the same "please contact us to complete your order". I tried every combination of email, phone number, credit card, address, etc and couldn't get it to go through. The customer service number they give you will try to put the order in for you (and insist over and over that you credit card is the problem even after you have them try 2 or 3 different ones). They seem unaware that Metro is just blocking you from additional promotions. It's unclear how many phones/tablets you can get to one address/card. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to order anything from metro again, I haven't bothered trying. Maybe if they come out with a G Stylus 2026 for free with plan I'll give it a shot.

Quite usable. Just turn off ramplus and decrease animations and you have a decent responsive tablet.

I have done both of these and I still don't consider it very useable. Maybe it can navigate its own settings menu but the second you actually wanna do anything, it hitches.
