That's only for delivery orders like groceries. For most non-perishables, you can just choose shipping and if a local store carries it, you'll get in same day or the next day.I always filter by Walmart as the retailer to avoid all the third-party junk. Amazon makes it a hassle to filter third-party sellers out.

They (Walmart+) have "free" delivery on prescriptions too. Round trip to Walmart is a 25 mile trip for me. Instead of burning a $5+ gallon of gas I can tip a driver $4 and take a nap on the couch.

Back that opinion up! I've tried a simple order of Coca-Cola and some household goods and the orders been canceled twice it's like the drivers don't want to do small orders.... By contrast I've never had a problem with Amazon

I have had similar issues with walmart+. An order is only available for free shipping(as opposed to delivery from store where you need to tip) if there is a delivery order in my area. But since you don't tip with a free shipping order, it often gets cancelled.
