$99 original price is steep. $60 sale price still cost too much imo. And it's for a 1 piece? thought it'd be for several pieces like 3-4.
That said, I bought some Govee Christmas lights and honestly they were great, that for this year, i bought a second goove xmass light, If someone is just starting fresh today, I don't think Hue is really worth the premium anymore. There are a lot of solid alternatives now, just recently i saw the new brand coming up, LIFX lights at Home Depot are pretty good.

I tested a few different smart lights back then and settled on Hue, but only for a small area. Couldn't justify the crazy prices.
