If you really want to wet/dry buy a Milwaukee instead. This one is not worth it. Only 30 CFM... junk.

A Milwaukee vac is not going to cost $80.

I have one. It collects dust which is the only thing it's good for cleaning up.

I got this model about 4 years ago and I'm really not super-happy with the vacuum strength. It's definitely good enough for really light duty situations like quickly cleaning up sawdust or metal filings, mouse poop, etc... But it's not strong enough to be effective like, vacuuming out your car, between the seats and stuff. I originally got it to help me vacuum out the attic when I replaced all the fiberglass insulation, but I ended up just dragging my shop vac up there because it just wasn't making things any easier. A couple years ago I inherited a little 2-gallon shop vac https://www.craftsman.com/en-us/p...ccessories that I've found fills the role of my Dewalt 20-volt vacuum better. I still use the Dewalt 20-volt daily for cleaning up my workbench in the basement because it is MUCH quieter than the other 2 shop vacs and won't annoy anyone. So it's definitely useful, but if I were buying one today and had to choose between the two, I'd get the plug-in 120V 2 gallon vac to get any real work done without dragging around a 16 gallon monster. I hope all this helps.

I completely agree, this vacuum doesn't suck

I got it for $80 recently and it's very OK. Haven't tried out the wet function but it's sufficient for light duty clean up in residential homes after doing a service call. It's best function is Impressing your clients that you're a professional, DeWalt style
