Seems like a good drone for people to get into the hobby. I got a DJI Mini 2 se a long time ago and it's been great.

That's the decision I made recently. I looked at the cob with the controller for 250 and ordered it. I then started reading about it following on the water and it was a no go. Seems like the NEO 2 is better for this and almost everything else. The guest urge control is also pretty darn cool.

If you can spend a little more, get the Neo 2. Obstacle avoidance, 2 axis gimbal and more improvements is worth it. I got mine on Ebay from a S. Korea seller for $360 including the $25 Allstate Insurance, delivered in 4 days including the weekend.

Im holding out for a big deal on the neo 2 as well. All the reading ive done seems to point that direction and then a co worker was flying one in our gym and gushing over it lol so hopefully that deal comes soon!

Absolutely! It is not worth upgrading to Neo2. Neo1 is smaller and compact with a built-in transmitter. Even though Neo2 has a better camera, it is bigger and needs a transmitter separately.

The Neo 2 also has a 2 axis gimble, obstacle avoidance and overall it's just a better drone. Worth the premium imo.
