I bought 2 of them at the price $112 in the past. It said "refurbished" but looks no difference as new. It is also with 2 years warranty. And the title of the ebay one shows "170 Hz". The actual ones they sent are the version 2 with a better config 180Hz
Community Reviews
This MSI 27 inch WQHD IPS G Sync monitor stands out as a budget 1440p gaming display with USB C power delivery and a Costco return policy that adds peace of mind. The panel is also available refurbished for less on eBay, sometimes around $112 to $118 with free shipping, but that route has a shorter return window. The main concern is reliability, with reports of flickering and some units failing within two years, though there is also a report of a unit lasting more than two years. It is a stronger fit if Costco support matters more than chasing the lowest price.
Common Questions (4)
Some units reportedly develop flickering within a few months or fail before 2 years, and a few owners returned multiple units for that reason. Others report their monitor lasting 2+ years, so the main practical concern is whether you get a problem-free panel early on.
Costco gives a 90-day no-questions return window, and Executive members can get an extra year of warranty coverage on electronics. Warranty claims go through Costco Concierge rather than the manufacturer, which makes the longer return/warranty protection the main reason to pay more here.
Yes, refurbished units have been seen around $112 during eBay 20% discount events, and another listing was mentioned at $118 after coupon with free shipping. The Costco price is higher, but it comes with the store's return-policy flexibility and warranty handling.
The 15W USB-C power delivery is intended for laptops rather than phones, but it is only a low-power charging output. It can help keep a laptop topped up or connected, but it is not meant to replace a full laptop charger.

At the same time, the refurbished option on eBay also includes a 30-day return policy. In many cases, if no issues arise during the initial 30-day period, the device will probably keep working fine for a long time as well. So it really comes down to whether the extra money is worth the added flexibility and peace of mind to you.
The costco I checked had a whole pallet. It's clearly undesirable. Maybe the manager will clear them out at $100.00 ???
Check the costco app once in a while to see if your costco manager reduces the price more.

Although if you look at the reviews it fails often. One person paid $147 to ship to MSI to replace a board.
