no, not this particular model - it has issues with components and thermals, hence a lot of these pop up here as refurbished

In this market, it actually is. However, prebuilt PC's like this have a bad reputation with gamers. Good news is acer makes it easy to return if you don't like it, and this listing should come with warranty as well.

Decent gaming? It should run most games on the highest graphics on 1440p monitors, with entry level gaming at 4K. You won't find much cheaper PCs that offer the same specs.

Great deal imo. Just make sure all the components are working properly once it arrives.

This. Prime95 to stress test the CPU and CPU cooling. Memtest for 24 hours to ensure memory stability. Furmark to stress test GPU and GPU cooling. H2testw to test writing and reading from the entire disk.

I think it's a good deal if all the parts check out and if the case and any supplementary stuff like cooling is insufficient, it shouldn't be too costly to move to a different case or better cooling.

Bought this last time it was on sale and also have a machine with a 5080. Other than a mismatched wifi antenna I've been very happy with them.

Ummmm, I completely disagree. I have a 4070 and 7900X and I drive a lot of games to 144 fps at 1440p with no DLSS.
