Don't forget the trick!!! You all are doing it wrong!!

Step 1: Buy 3-4 PERSONAL 365 Microsoft 1 year plans. Add to account ( Microsoft365.com/setup). Be sure your account isn't linked to a best buy or amazon or other 3rd party. Do not go over 4 years. I got my for $50 each.

Step 2: Then an offer from Microsoft for Premium family (advanced ai) will generate for $99 a year (instead of $199) on subscription page. Before you add, paypal has an offer for 20% off at Microsoft - add offer.

Step 3:
Use Microsoft link on subscription page to upgrade to Premium family for $99 and pay using paypal.

*** Congratulations - Your PERSONAL plan is now PREMIUM FAMILY for a heavy discount for next 5 years.

All in it will cost $50/$50/$50/$50/$80. $280 for 5 year. That is $56 a year for Premium family. My renewal billing says $199 a year starting May 1, 2031.

You have to let your plan expire or start a new plan for this to work. I let mine (family) expire last week. Then did this. I had a friend who did 4 years and got Microsoft to add his 9 months from the old Family plan onto newly "created" plan.
My old plan was under that BestBuy nonsense but it was from a SD offer to where I got Personal codes for $9. Went to every Best Buy and bought up many of these $9 packages (mouse/code/webroot antivirus). YMMV.

Community Reviews

This Microsoft 365 deal stands out for the app checkout discount and the bundled cloud storage, especially the 1TB per user and up to 6TB on Family. The discount often appears only late in checkout, sometimes on the Place Order screen or in Amazon Pay, and the app seems required. The subscription can be used to extend an existing plan, and stacking multiple years is possible, though some stacking and upgrade paths have started throwing errors or changing behavior. The main draw is the storage and Office access, with the caveat that the best price may take some digging to surface.

  • The checkout discount can appear during the checkout flow even when it is not visible in the cart.

    stnsBoastfulCrowd949

  • The product can be used to extend an existing Microsoft 365 subscription instead of starting from scratch.

    stnsSociableKitten4310

  • The Family plan can cover up to six accounts with 1TB OneDrive storage per user.

    elefante72mmmmark

  • AI and Copilot features can add practical spreadsheet assistance like flagging spacing and spelling inconsistencies.

    Iceream

  • The app discount may be buried in the checkout steps and can still show the higher price on the Place Order page.

    dhlLavenderCrowd549FC.Deal

  • Subscription stacking and upgrades can produce errors, and support may require using codes only when the current subscription ends.

    rabbz

  • The discounted Family premium upgrade may be limited by a cap of not going over five years total coverage.

    wspfan

  • Some purchasers report key or subscription management problems, which can make the deal risky to attempt.

"Shipping is free for Amazon Prime Members (must login with your Amazon account and select a shipping address in order for Woot to apply free shipping) or is otherwise $6 per order."

Why is there shipping for a digital download?

Is this considered an Amazon run subscription? I have 2 years stacked with Amazon and worried this will mess it up

Yes. Last bullet in the description:

NOTE: this product can be used to extend an existing subscription.

I currently have an M365 sub through Amazon. Do I need to cancel that one before using this code?
Edit: since there is no way to input this code via the Amazon-managed subscription, I believe I would need to cancel it to use this.

Since the description says it's sending a serial code, I don't think it's managed by Amazon.

how many years can you stack? I've got an education Home Use discount (or whatever they call it now) at $91/yr but wouldn't mind stacking a few more years in case I stop coaching and lose the home use discount.
