Community Reviews
The Finn Bear is a small puukko inspired fixed blade that fits woodcraft, hunting, and everyday cutting, with a comfortable handle and a broad tear drop butt that works well for tamping jars or kitchen prep. It sharpens easily, holds an edge through daily use, and the cloth sheath is more comfortable than the Finn Hawk style hard plastic sheath. The blade has also handled dishwasher trips and deer cleaning without issue. The main knocks are the lack of a hand guard and the sense that it is better for light cutting than stabbing or hard use.
Campers packing a backup blade for a go-bag, because it is a compact general-purpose knife that can handle light cutting tasks.
Home cooks doing pickling prep, because the broad butt helps tamp vegetables into jars and the blade stays easy to sharpen.
Hunters cleaning game who want a small belt knife, because it handled deer cleaning and fits woodcraft, hunting, and daily cutting tasks.
Outdoors users who prefer a Scandi-style blade for woodcraft, because the grind is suited to bushcraft tasks and carbon steel sharpens easily.
Buyers wanting a stabbing knife, because it has no hand guard and is meant for light cutting rather than thrusting use.
Kitchen users who need a dedicated rack knife, because it comes with a sheath and does not fit a kitchen knife rack easily.
Shoppers expecting a premium original design, because it is described as a Chinese-made knife that is not among the maker's best designs.

BTW - the reason I use the morakniv so little is that the blade doesn't look food-safe - like it would contribute off-flavors. It looks like a knife that belongs in the bait bucket, not in the kitchen.

Good info thanks.
On another note, I don't know if that's your dog (guessing it's a composite image), but if that is really what your dog looks like, for the love of all that's holy put that thing down and send it back to hell whence it came.
Society and little children will be safer and God will thank you for it.
