If someone is wanting to grab the 'new wayfarer color mix green classic', this is a good deal. They rarely see the heavy discounts the og and new wayfarers that are a solid color throughout the frame normally do.
For those out of the know, they're a clear frame with a black matte coating on the exterior face and sides, along with seeing lower annual production runs, even being out of stock through out their reseller network for multi month stretches from time to time. I'd roughly equate them to a special edition version, just without that proper naming. It's a nice subtle touch that differentiates them from all the other wayfarers folks have, but w/o being visually obnoxious or juvenile.
I know way to much about that exact pair since , a couple of years ago, I distinctly wanted to purchase only that colorway, and was surprised at how it was way more of challenge to find them than I ever expected.
