I spent $289 at Ninja's website for mine. It came with a total of 4 glass containers. 2 large, 1 med and 1 small. I have never even used the 2 extra containers. It was a early promo.
$199 is good for an excellent air fryer that I use daily, but it would be better with 2 containers for slightly more money. If you don't mind a single container, this is an amazing air fryer.

misleading to compare this to the $300 model that comes with more containers.

This is a good deal for the pro. I paid $159.99 at Kohl's for the smaller one. https://www.kohls.com/product/prd...system.jsp Didn't really see a difference except for a few extra watts and the larger container that can be had for about 35 bucks from Ninja.

Are people really convinced this is better than a normal air fryer?

Because it is? It uses glass bowls, much safer than Teflon coated non stick pans. You can also store the food you cook in the bowls in the bowls themselves with the included lids. It's awesome.

I owned both a normal air fryer and the smaller version of this one, and can never go back, this deal is tempting for me actually

I've found the Crispi to be quite Shitti.

Glass is far superior and the cook -> storage versatility is thoughtful and innovative. But the food just doesn't come out as crispy as I want; convection feels inferior to the Gourmia I have in my kitchenette and the old Philips dinosaur one I got which might've been the first air fryer ever.

TL; DR. Everything about it other than the air frying is wonderful.

The food does not come out crispy. I'd avoid this overpriced airfryer and get the basic one from Costco for less than $50.

It's only 4qt, and I have the 6qt Crispi Pro. The larger bowl is much better.

i bought the standard one that has the 6qt and 2.5qt. was originally going to get the non pro, but gf wanted the temp control, plus the larger bowl. it was probably twice as expensive, but not having to find a place to put the top part, everytime you swap bowls is good. didn't know they had one that only had 4qt. compared to the normal $50 ish air fryer we used to have,, it is defeinitely better at air fryer things. also a ton easier to keep clean. those normal air fryers eventually grease if not cleaned off near immediately will get impossible to remove from their tray. plus no teflon is nice
