Had 4 of these, within a few months each of the magnetic portion of the wand broke off from normal use. Super disappointing

I replaced this with the one with the pole on the wall, which was a pain to install, but so much more user friendly than the magnetic one, which I felt was too strong to easily pull off

You might want to try Moen version. I have had for 5+ years and no issue. Very strange a magnet is lasting you a few months.
