This Greenworks 80V bundle looks strongest as a suburban yard starter kit, with the mower, trimmer, and blower covering basic lawn care without jumping to pricier heavy duty gear. The mower is described as easy to use, and the included 4Ah battery is valuable on its own. Real world runtime varies a lot, though, with flat lawns and lighter work stretching farther than thick or wet grass. The main limitation is battery life, so an extra battery may be needed for larger or tougher yards. A practical pick if you want the tools without paying for beefier upgrades.
Common Questions (5)
No. The "up to 1/2 acre" figure is a property recommendation, not a runtime guarantee, and the 4Ah battery may not finish even a 1/8-acre yard if the grass is tall or the motor works hard. For larger or thicker lawns, a second battery is likely needed.
Yes, it is a strong fit for basic suburban needs and can handle a flat 10,000 sq ft lawn with battery left over. It is not the beefier option for heavy upgrades like a 22" dual-blade mower or double-battery backpack blower.
Often yes. The included 4Ah battery is described as modest, and many users expect to buy a second battery for comfortable mowing, trimming, and blowing without running out mid-job.
Runtime depends heavily on grass height and workload, but one setup handled mowing, weed-whacking, and light blowing on a large flat suburban yard, while another did a 10,000 sq ft lawn with half the charge left. In tougher conditions, the battery can run out before finishing a smaller yard.
Yes. The dual-blade mower is reported to power through thick, heavy, and wet grass better, and it also mulches fall leaves well. The tradeoff is that it is a more expensive step up than this bundle.

I like the trimmer and blower from the Costco $250 deal better than the ones included with this package. That doesn't mean the ones in this package are bad though. They seem decent, just not as good as the ones in the Costco package.
The mower seems nice which is the main reason I bought this package along with the battery.
However, I find the retail price of $1099 ridiculous. At a minimum, for that price, this should have included 2 batteries instead of one and the mower should take 2 batteries instead of one for longer runtime. However, for the price I paid I'm satisfied for now.
Also, Greenworks website sucks. I couldn't even register the Costco unit correctly and I can't update my email address even though it tells me it was updated.
