I have installed every iteration of EERO, except for the 7 Pro, at many client homes. The price has been a barrier, but sale prices like this make it feasible. It's tempting to get for my own home, but my Pro 6 system is doing fine. EERO lasts!

You sound just like the dudes in the NAS forums, that always say, "Just build your own server". It's not for everyone. EERO is dead simple and Ubiquiti is not. If you like to "fiddle" then enjoy UniFi.

Agreed. I love ubiquiti stuff but swapped to Eero years ago when I wanted to spend less time tinkering with my setup and troubleshooting update issues. It's been pretty flawless ever since with tons of updates. That said, I still look at ubiquiti and tell myself I'll go back someday but I really don't need to. I'm on Eero 6e pro and I remember when 7's came out Max was the only one I was considering but price is still crazy. I think it's mostly a side grade for wired backhaul.

Don't advertise this info, they'll fuk it up with software bombs to force you to buy new hardware
