This RYOBI ONE plus 18 volt drill and driver kit looks like a solid starter setup for light home projects, with the battery, charger, bag, and accessories adding value at the price. The drill itself is described as working well, with one long term owner saying it has held up for about 10 years. A 1 half inch Ryobi drill would offer more versatility and bit compatibility, though. The main drawback is that the delivered kit often does not match the photos or include the bag and tools shown, so the contents need checking.

Common Questions (4)

Not reliably. Several orders arrived with only the drill, battery, and charger, while the bag and extra tools shown in the photo were missing or replaced by a different kit, so it is worth checking the exact SKU and contents before buying.

Yes. The kit is described as suitable for light work around the house, and the included 2.0 Ah battery is noted as a bigger battery than some comparable starter kits.

The 1/2 in. Ryobi drill offers more versatility because it accepts more bits and accessories, with decent power and speed. The 3/8 in. kit is still a basic starter option for lighter tasks.

A similar Ryobi drill has reportedly lasted about 10 years and still works when needed, and this kit is also described as working just fine for everyday use.

Seems like a good price for a starter kit, and probably the best bang for the buck?

Yeah, the bag and accessories are more useful than the 22pc kit I got last year for the same price. Bigger battery, too. Suitable for light work around the house.

The Ryobi 1/2" drill will give a lot more versatility because it can accept more bits and accessories and has a decent amount of power and speed.

Has any one got this? The product description doesn't say it included the screw driver and drill bit set or bag as shown in the product picture.
