I have their previous sync module for local storage and have never thought about upgrading my existing devices before, so maybe I am out of the loop here. Do you know what the difference is between this included sync module and the older one that supported USB drives?

if you want local storage via microSD card, you need the Sync Module XR - which is included in this bundle which is $10 more than the posted deal.

I bought same bundle 3 days ago for $79.99 since I needed it fast. Doorbell won't ship for another 3 days but they won't price adjustment or cancel part of bundle. Don't know if I should just rebuy it but I'm traveling it'll be difficult to return. Or I'll just rebuy cheaper bundle and just have extra doorbell and camera

People really forget a sleeper home security system: Lorex. They're more expensive (hardly), but you can use local storage (no subscriptions at all) and their app is super responsive and you can view video/notifications without a sub. I just kitted out my Church with 16 of their cameras, flood lights, door sensors, doorbell cams, etc. and they're fantastic. They also sell NVR systems so you can have a whole net of cameras with local storage using PoE and/or WiFi by LAN. Check 'em out.

I have Eufy cameras. More expensive and better than this. No major and its been about 3 years. Only thing is every once in a while I have to restart the unit.

You can use %95 of the features and it's much cheaper. Works great with local storage.
