Correct. Larger fans can move the same quantity of air with less noise when compared to smaller fans. The concern here is that it's only based on the noise created from moving air. Pitch and whine from the motor can still be present with larger motors.

Your recommendation, however, has 100 different fan speed settings. So you could likely find a speed that moves a decent amount of air without the motor making too much racket.

I own both and fully agree. They're about the same physical size but the slightly larger one pushes much more air and has small feature upgrades with the button layouts.

Both push same volume of air, one is very narrow and directional other is spread out a bit more.
