OLight has actual reviews and will stand behind their product. The one you linked is an alphabet soup brand that will dissappear by Q3 2026 and be replaced by another random company called whhqaijsjqjwj
Honestly the lights are probably 80% the same parts but I'd rather pay more for the better one.

These are amazingly bright for their tiny size.

This is the first version fyi. 2 is slightly better. 20 more lumen and a mode memory, longer lasting.

Can someone tell me why the Olight, one for $13, is better than these lights, six for $20? Both are made in China. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DP33...light&th=1
Is the made-in-USA Streamlight version 10x better than the Chinese version? https://www.amazon.com/Streamligh...9hdGY&th=1

Respectfully, better to pay 4x the price for the same light? Is Olight just a marketing company for Chinese products, or is their sourcing team just better?

Respectfully, when you read reviews for a product and the first thing you see is people trying them and being surprised all 10 work it's a bad omen. Several reported them being inoperable out of the box so therefore you aren't getting 10 but the lottery of the number that work out of 10. Olight and Streamlight are known for reliability and quality which when you need a light and you need it to work is worth it. I will pay more for quality that has lasted me over 8 years and going rather than less and have to buy more after a year from other deals. Buying more cheap adds up fast.

I've got a few different brands for similar style lights (Olight, Nitecore, Thrunite, Streamlight, Workpro). All have their merits and price ranges. The Workpro are probably most comparable to your link and are the least 'solid' in the hand. But still useful. I've handed a few out to neighbors since most had all or nothing lights - pen lights definitely fit a niche.
Anyway - if you are needing a throw away light, those Beieverlck ones will fit the bill. Hell, I might pick up a set at that price. But they are different lights (dual mode switch operation and tube texture appear different). I like the 2 i3Ts I have - I don't mind having multiple lights for a particular role.

I like the reversible pocket clip which lets you turn it into a headlamp if you clip it on a cap. If the cheap chinese ones had that, I might try them. Also I have 4 of these little lights that I've used for a couple years now and they're awesome. No issues.

I will ONLY buy with that style clip. Like said above this is V1. V2 has a nicer mount to the clip also.

I have the streamlight microstream and it's great. The only downside is the micro-USB port is has. Everything nowadays has a USB-C port. So, I have to keep a separate cable on-hand in order to charge it - micro-USB is OLD...

I keep one of the cheapies in my backpack; it is surprising how often I use it: from finding a dropped object on a plane, to once in a hotel when the power went out in much of the city, and often in dimly lit restaurants.
Never had a bad one, never had one fail or leak. Like umbrellas, I lose them before they wear out. I
It is still unclear to me why some are paying more, often a lot more, for similar functionality. I no longer chase villains at night with a penlight, I don't use them underwater, and I rarely run over them with my car to check their durability. Can someone please tell me why I should buy the similar battery-powered Streamlight for $27? Or this one, also made in China, for $13?
