So is this a better deal price wise minus the 2.5AH for $330? Would I EVER use that 2.5AH for a blower?

Personally, I'd rather save the $60 and not get the 2.5AH battery.

I'd say if you have another battery you probably don't need it, but if the 5Ah is all you have, I'd keep it, because sometimes you're almost done, & the battery dies. It's a lot nicer to finish the job with an alternate battery, versus waiting to recharge.The 2.5Ah is also good if you have other tools and don't want the extra weight. But, it doesn't really last very long in the blower, especially if you like to use turbo mode.

Great deal! Been waiting for an EGO Leaf Blower above 700 CFM max with a hefty battery under $300. 5Ah is good enough to swap into my mower, too.

I got back $124 back for the $329 combo, so paid $205 for the blower and 5.0Ah battery.

I don't know if the itemized pricing is different with the $319 combo or an overall change to discourage the return of the 2.5Ah.

Edit: mine was all done in store (not sure if it makes a difference)

Depends what you're doing. If you just want something powerful for cleaning walkways, driveways, garages, etc. then the 2.5Ah will be enough and is much lighter. The 5.0Ah is heavy, but you'll need it for a large yard full of leaves.
