This Topfeel three piece butcher set is pitched as a sharp, eye catching kitchen and camping knife trio with a 7 inch Serbian chef knife, a 7 inch cleaver, and a 6.5 inch Viking knife. The blades are described as very sharp out of the box, and hand washing, drying, and a light coat of oil are said to help prevent rust. The listing also identifies 5Cr15MoV high carbon stainless steel and Yangjiang, China manufacturing. Concerns center on the thick, grooved design, possible stamped construction, and whether the set is better suited to novelty or backup use than heavy daily cooking.

Yeah, these look like those Huusk knives, mass produced and rebranded all over the internet. Here's a video about them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j...aHV1c2s%3D
But there not those Huusk Knives... wow. Talk about killing this vendor.

China. They're basically those Huusk knives, check out the youtube channel about 'huusk' from Cedric & Ada Gear and Outdoors
Can you show me where it says... "made in China".

And CLEARLY, these are not the Huusk knifes.

For those of you in this thread who have strong opinions about quality knives - what's a quality set that won't break the bank?
What is quality...

who knows....

Buy my question to you is
1. Where are these made, it is not listed anywhere.
2. What metal is used to make these knifes
3. Is it painted or is that the natural color of the steel, above the steel shiny area.
4. While these look very similar to the last set that everyone said was a SCAM.. it is most likely the same thing since 1 and 2 are not mentioned.
5. If it smells like shit, looks like shit and tastes like shit... IT'S SHIT

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

As a pro knife sharpener, I can tell you that just about any piece of steel can be sharpened.

BUT that steel has to be properly hardened to maintain that sharp edge during use.

Cheap knives quickly lose their sharpness, because they are soft.

These knives are also insanely thick and are going to be very fatiguing to use.

Watch for a sale on Mercer, Victorinox or Wüsthof. That's it.

Don't buy (or gift!) any exotic, strange looking or Japanese knives that will rust if one of your guests accidentally puts them in the dishwasher.
