About this Game:
  • Subnautica is an underwater adventure game set on an alien ocean planet. A massive, open world full of wonder and peril awaits you!
  • You have crash-landed on an alien ocean world, and the only way to go is down. Subnautica's oceans range from sun drenched shallow coral reefs to treacherous deep-sea trenches, lava fields, and bio-luminescent underwater rivers. Manage your oxygen supply as you explore kelp forests, plateaus, reefs, and winding cave systems. The water teems with life: Some of it helpful, much of it harmful.
  • After crash landing in your Life Pod, the clock is ticking to find water, food, and to develop the equipment you need to explore. Collect resources from the ocean around you. Craft diving gear, lights, habitat modules, and submersibles. Venture deeper and further form to find rarer resources, allowing you to craft more advanced items.

It's a great game that is also pretty stress free if you want to chill. I think I paid like $10 about 6 months back

lol "stress-free" is very relative depending on if you have any phobias related to water and/or giant creatures in the water, but it's an amazing game!

Agreed with all! I spent so much time with this game, and it was well worth it. The base building was a lot of fun to me.

Early access in 2 days! Which is likely the reason for this sale, to give some notice and reminders.

I'm conflicted though... Really want to play and want to reward the dev team but also really want to punish the shady AF publisher for their greed, scheming and fraud.

NB: VR is basically unplayable without additional community mods.

Was going to ask about VR. Check EPIC first though. It was a free game awhile back.

One of my favorite games, I actually go back and play a fresh game every so often. Thursday the 14th Subnautica 2 enters early release as well. Already have that loaded and ready.

I've really gotta come back to this game at some point, if for any reason to max out the settings with my recent gpu and ultrawide upgrades, and play it how it was intended to look/play.

Oh great, now I'm gonna have to completely upgrade the daughters machine just to play it(Sub2)!. I'm guessing an i7 4th gen and 1060 3GB isn't going to do too well.
