This one area where YES, I try to save money but the most important thing, even more important then saving money is making sure you buy the right chair.
My advice is to go to Staples and sit down on every chair and figure it out yourself.
You may save money or you may spend more... but in the end, either way, I feel it is worth it.
I personally did not like the two pieces in the back and preferred something more like this....
