Pre-ordered. It's shipped by Hue and it's sold out on their website too. So the restock should happen pretty quickly.

Thanks. Backordered one.

Did they fix the issues with these? Color was one of them off the top of my head

Color like they're only in black? Or you expected them to be black but they're polka dotted?

Difference between this and the regular hub is mostly more lights? Anything else?

Motionaware is pretty amazing. senses movement using hue bulbs to light a room when you walk in.

That does sound pretty neat. Not sure I have spots to put enough bulbs to make it work tho.

A few other features. Two biggest are probably being able to use lights as motion detectors and to take a picture of your room to make the active scene lighting better

$80 for the privilege of turning on the bulbs you paid $60+ for - yeah, great deal!

I wish I never bought into the Hue ecosystem with it's inefficient, unnecessary hardware bridge.

In contrast, I purchased some no name brand lights off of Amazon with more features, unlimited colors, no external hardware, and they connect directly to Alexa without a "bridge."

This literally should have been a free app integration with Alexa/Apple/Google. Instead, it's an extra, unnecessary piece of junk to pay for and pad GE profit margins at consumer expense.
