Community Reviews
The WiiM Amp is a compact all in one streaming amplifier that stands out for easy multiroom use and strong room calibration. The Roomfit auto equalization gets praised, and the unit is described as great enough to buy again. The main tradeoff is flexibility and power, since it is built more as an integrated amp than a streamer only box, and it can feel underpowered or flat with some speakers. Input switching through the app and the sluggish remote also draw complaints, so it suits simple setups best.
Owners upgrading from a basic integrated amp, because the built-in room correction and streaming features are praised as a strong everyday package.
Apartment listeners building a simple all-in-one stereo, because it combines streaming and amplification in one box and supports easy room calibration.
Multiroom setups using one source per zone, because a single unit can feed several speakers when they all play the same audio.
Listeners driving power-hungry speakers, because it can sound flat and run out of steam near maximum volume.
Home theater setups needing an external amplifier path, because it is meant as an all-in-one unit and cannot easily act as streamer-only hardware.
People who switch inputs constantly from the couch, because input changes may require the mobile app and the remote has no display.

EDITED TO ADD: also additional $15 off for getting a day later when shipped to TX but I think this is regional on Crutchfield. So for me $254-21 for referral-15 for slow shipping = $228 before any cash back from portals.
EDITED TO ADD: ironically, UPS expects delivery on Thursday which is when it would have arrived without the $15 "delayed" shipping. But who knows how accurate UPS will be.

This amplifier uses a good, but fully integrated class D amplifier. It won't have great THD SNR and Will to start pretty badly near maximum power
