Mainly for winterizing/storing small engines. Most people never do anything, but youre supposed to remove the spark plugs and drip a little oil in there, crank it over to coat the walls, and reinstall spark plug. This just makes it quicker and less messy.

Also works well for drained gas tanks during maintenance. The main advantage in my experience is this product does not fowl the carb/injectors/ as bad once the engine is restarted

What if my dad's, 1985 c1500 has sat for the past 5 years? Is this one ofg the things to use, once new plugs, and new, gas tank is put on or emptied? Anything else I should attempt before starting.m5 newbie on old stuff but willing to fix small things before putting it in a shop,to get it all the kinks... gone.

I use this when I clean out an old motorcycle gas tank. They have a tendency to flash rust after you clean them. Fog the tank and it keeps the rust down.

I use it in all my engines that site for any time. Mowers over the winter, generators, rototiller, snowblower, etc.
