This is one of those products like boxed Mac and cheese where there really is a difference among the different brands. Fresh Gourmet fried onions are significantly better than French's. Costco will have them in the fall - I buy 4 bags that usually last me the year.

They sell these just before best used date on discount and it takes 15 minutes to make some for a similar cost. Pass right now but good deal.
