Reviews arent great with dead batteries on arrival since it seems to be old shelf unit but it's covered brand new underwarranty including batteries replacement.

I ordered one. Worse thing that could happen is get another unit or new batteries under warranty.

Every single review is 1 star and reports a dead battery. I don't see how it's a deal if you are guaranteed to be dealing with a warranty replacement right out of the box?

Some of the reviews say the units are over 7 years old and past the warranty

I'm pretty sure you have to pay the shipping back to cyberpower to return a defective unit. Anyone had a different experience?

Due to weight these are expensive to ship.

FWIW, we had a rash of dead batteries involving UPS's at work. Like dozens. No one was RTFM...the batteries in those UPS's ship disconnected. Not saying that is the situation here but could be or a similar issue.

Regardless, anyone know if this would work for a 3d printer to help calm down LED lights flicker on the same circuit? My understanding is 3D printer plugged into line interactive UPS should (in theory) filter much of this noise out. If it matters Flashforge Adventurer 5M, PSU wattage 350. Also bonus points for a CYA for the printer to have a battery backup for brief outages.

Warranty is after the purchase date. Not how old the unit was made

They ship you replacement battery (free of charge) if your battery is dead or defective. Review dont mention bad unit just bad battery.

This is why you dont listen to most review. Or slickdeak comments thinking they know it all. Got mine, came brand new. Charge for 8 hours. Tested with a mini fan, disconnected from power, run it 50 minutes on battery no problem. Connected to my nas and then powered down. Left Nas running for 25 minutes. 3 years warranty from manufacture for $80 heck of deal and most probably didnt get it from people posting without having any hands on experience with it.
