I have two DJI drones, that I ended getting a 3rd party warranty as a peace of mind thing for that.

1. DJI Pocket 3 relies on the official DJI Mimo app for firmware updates, video editing, smart shooting modes, and account binding. If the unit is pre‑activated and locked to another user's DJI account, you will NOT be able to bind your own account, use the full editing features, or update the camera normally. Basic recording may work, but core app functions are restricted.
2. Units sold via this AliExpress US‑warehouse seller are parallel‑import gray‑market devices. They do NOT come with official 1‑year DJI USA manufacturer warranty, only the 90‑day AliExpress return window. DJI US will not honor warranty service for these units.
3. Pre‑activated, account‑locked devices are a known risk from this seller. For reference, this store previously ran deals around $337, now at $327. With the launch of Pocket 4 Pro and Luna Alchu 2, prices are expected to drop further, so there is no rush to purchase right now.
