No. CCC shows it bouncing between $18-24 regularly for the past 2 years.
So you're saving $6 off normal price

Any recommendations for alternative floodlight/camera brands to look at?

https://a.co/d/076ZjQiy This is $35, but much more capable. Good app, good ai, very usable without a subscription, and good WiFi range. Video quality is sharp day & night. Pan & tilt are useful, and it's a decent brand.

These types of cheap cameras require Internet to reach the relay server for live viewing

Do they charge a fee for cloud or filming access. The Camera that comes with Clawsable outdoor cat houses, almost force you to pay 3.99 a month or it starts displaying so of the pretty nasty your device has been hacked or your out of memory large ads on your mobile device.

Usually these cameras can be accessed once you have a u/p configured. Standard protocols.

NVR is what connects to the cameras. You access the NVR to view the streams.

I am using Reolink cameras in my house currently but had a Hikvision system before that. Reolink cameras are nice because even the doorbell cameras don't require a subscription like many others. Also my info isn't stored on the cloud. I have dual storage using a HDD NVR as well as the cameras onboard storage that uses SD cards.
